Freshwater Fish Types and Information
The following table lists some of the most common types of freshwater
fish and the
following information about them:
Temperment - Whether the fish are peaceful,
semi-aggressive, or aggressive.
Lighting needs - whether the fish need bright
light or subdued light.
Habitat needs - whether the fish need plants,
rocks, or plants and rocks in the aquarium.
Swimming level - whether the fish generally swim
at the top, middle, bottom, or all levels of the aquarium.
This information can help you in selecting the right mix of fish and providing the
